Rate: 8 Description: This resort is themed around pop culture from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Each building area is a different decade and is decorated accordingly featuring the iconic movies from each decade. This resort has multiple pools and is loads of fun for everyone. It has a nostalgic feel to it, and anyone who has lived in the 20th century will have an appreciation for the resort. In the main lobby area, there is a cafeteria style food court, and also a small section where you can purchase salads, juices, fruits, parfaits, desserts, and fresh baked goods- all made at Disney Springs. Additionally, there is a gift shop. The rooms are in separate buildings, and this is one of the downsides of the resort. You have to park in a parking lot by your decade and then walk from there to the building your room is in. The hallways are all outdoors, and to get to the pools, lobby, and food court, you have to walk outdoors with little to no covering in the rain. It is spread out and can take up to ten minutes to get to where you need to be. Tips: The pools here are all so much fun, but the Hippie Dippie Pool is by far the best. Cast members interact with everybody and there is games and music and activities for guests on the deck. Also, be sure to check out the arcade for a look back at some video games and new favorites. If your kids get bored, they have a couch and small room off the main lobby where a movie is always playing.
