Description: This may be one of Disney's most famous rides. On this fun flume ride, you journey through the south from sparkling caves to shady swamps. Expect lots of laughs, music, small drops, and at the end, one huge plunge! At the end, you can be sure to be wet and be singing "zipadee doo dah!" Tips: Smile for the camera on the big drop, and if you do not want to get wet, bring a poncho or put something on your seat. 1/21/2017 0 Comments Meeting princess cinderellaRate: 7
Description: Cinderella is the star of Disney’s film by the same name about a young girl turned princess. You can meet Cinderella in her classic bun and black choker wearing her blue ball gown and glass slippers. Cinderella is probably Disney’s most famous princess and is not to be missed. Location: Princess Fairytale Hall Tips: Suggest hosting a royal ball or ask Cinderella about her prince and the mice. 1/15/2017 0 Comments Meeting peter panRate: 10
Description: Peter Pan is the classic boy who never grew up! He is full of self-confidence, humor, and energy. Peter Pan lives in Never Land and is sometimes accompanied by his friend, Wendy, or his fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell. Peter is fun for everyone, but because of his hyper attitude, he is super fun for little ones. Location: Peter Pan meets outside his ride, Peter Pan’s Flight, around the corner. He is directly across from the bathrooms by Rapunzel’s tower. Tips: Ask Peter to tell you a story (the time he fed Hook’s hand to the crocodile is an especially amusing one). You could also have a competition to see who crows better. Ask Peter how the lost boys are, Tink, or Wendy. 1/13/2017 0 Comments Pinocchio's village hausRate: 7
Description: Pinocchio's Village Haus is a charming quick-serve restaurant serving both Italian and American cuisine. I can absolutely recommend the Flatbread Pizza and Chicken Parmesan. Both are delicious! The food is not 5-star, but it is tasty, and the portions are generous. The interior is adorably decorated to look like an Alpine cottage and even has an upstairs portion. There is an outer deck that offers beautiful views of the castle and surrounding area. Great place for an affordable, fast, yummy meal. Tips: Eat upstairs, if you can. It is much quieter and less crowded, and you can see the castle from the windows. 1/13/2017 0 Comments Space mountainRate: 8
Description: Space Mountain is one of Disney's most iconic rides. It's the fastest and scariest ride at the Magic Kingdom. This rides lets you zoom through the universe in the pitch black at roughly 30 mph with sudden drops and turns. It is a lot of fun and will be the perfect ride for a roller coaster fan or a young child wanting a thrill. It is more intense than Thunder Mountain, so it's maybe not best for a first-time roller coaster rider, but it is a ride not to be missed. Tips: Book a FastPass! In the afternoon heat of Florida, this cool and dark ride gets insane lines! Also, be sure to keep a smile on, because the ride will take a photo. 1/11/2017 0 Comments meeting Snow whiteCharacter: Snow White
Rate: 9 Description: Snow White is the fairest of them all and is one of the sweetest characters you will ever meet! She wears her classic dress with the yellow skirt, blue top with puff sleeves, white collar, and red cape. Snow White is somewhat of shy and gentle princess and is perfect for shyer guests or younger children. This princess went viral for connecting with a young child with Autism in a heartwarming video. Location: She is nestled in between City Hall and Main Street Chamber of Commerce and is tucked back between the buildings. You won’t see her unless you walk right up to the place called Town Square Courtyard. Tips: Talk to Snow White about the Seven Dwarfs or her prince and ask how they are doing. You can also warn her not to eat any apples for a laugh. 1/9/2017 0 Comments Wishes NIGHTTIME SPECTACULARRate: 7
Description: This is one of Disney’s best firework shows, yet! Wishes is an inspiring show with magical narration. The fireworks correspond to the reading. The fireworks light up the whole sky in beautiful colors and you can see them in a 360 view. Tips: Behind the castle by Pinocchio’s Village Haus is the best place to watch this show! 1/9/2017 0 Comments COSMIC RAY'S STARLIGHT CAFERate: 8
Description: This is a fun and casual restuarant that offers something for everyone. The restuarant is space-themed and is divided into "Bays" based on what you order. It is all-American cuisine (chicken nuggets, burgers, fries, soups, sandwiches salads...) and is very affordable. The resturant itself offers lovely views of the castle and the little moat surrounding it. Location: This restuarant is in Tomorrowland. Tips: We went to this restaurant in January 2017 at 11:30 and found it not very crowded at all. We got our food and ate everything in 20 minutes. However, if you're hungry later in the afternoon avoid this place if you are on a tight schedule. It is packed with lines nearly to the door and you have to wait to find a table at least 5 minutes. If you have little kids, try and get them a seat near the "entertainment" ( a singing alien) 1/8/2017 0 Comments Meeting AliceCharacter: Alice
Rate: 10 Description: Alice is the adorable, titular character of Alice in Wonderland from England. She has the accent, the dress, and a quirky, fun-loving personality. Location: Outside the Teacups. The que begins by the large leaf. However, if it is raining, she will be in a tiny little room by the Cheshire Cat and sandwiched up against the Thotful Spot (where Tigger and Pooh meet). Tips: Arrive first, if you can. Once, I heard Alice took the first guests in line on the Teacups. As for conversation starters, you could ask her if it’s her “unbirthday” or ask her about her friends, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, or the White Rabbit. |
